- What kind of technology / machinery do you use?
-
We have the most updated state-of-the-art GE HDlive (5D) machinery for your baby’s imaging. The technology utilizes a moveable light source that makes it possible to clearly depict the facial expressions, chubby cheeks, and nose of your baby in a peach-colored tone. This is a very thrilling phase for the parents that facilitates a first-time encounter with their baby’s physical features. Be prepared for the emotional overload though!!
- What is the recommended stage of pregnancy to have a 3D/4D/5D Sonogram?
-
During the course of the pregnancy, your baby goes through various stages of development. You can have a sonogram any time after 8 weeks, depending upon what you want to capture. The first look can be scheduled between 8 to 13 weeks where you can see the characteristic “C” shape or the “gummy bear” shape of the fetus. Your baby’s face contour and movements become visible by 13 weeks and you MAY be able to see the gender. During 14-23 weeks you will be able to observe clearer features of your baby, its movements and some personality characteristics. 28-32 weeks is the time to get the most realistic picture of your baby, all with the chubby cheeks and tiny toes. As the baby begins to run out of space at 35+ weeks, it becomes difficult to get a complete view.
